The Festo DSBC-100-160-PPSA-N3 is a heavy-duty double-acting single rod pneumatic cylinder from the DSBC ISO 15552 universal cylinder series. The model code breakdown: DSBC = ISO standard tie rod cylinder; 100 = 100mm piston bore; 160 = 160mm working stroke; PPSA = self-adjusting pneumatic cushion on both ends; N3 = CRC 2 moderate corrosion resistance & PWIS-free construction.
This unit delivers powerful linear thrust for heavy industrial loads, equipped with fully self-adaptive cushioning that automatically absorbs end-position impact without manual screw tuning. Extruded profile barrel features integrated sensor slots for direct installation of Festo proximity switches to detect full-stroke, mid-stroke and end positions. The hard-anodized aluminum barrel, coated die-cast end caps and high-alloy steel piston rod ensure stable long-cycle operation under heavy impact and fluctuating air pressure.
